Do I need to have a consultation prior to my treatment?

Yes, it’s essential. I always advise my clients to come along or talk via Skype if you have it, to talk about their expectations. We can talk about shape, colour and what you want to achieve. Claire will use her knowledge and talent to help you decide the permanent makeup that suits your facial structure, skin tone, hair colour, image and lifestyle.

How long will the procedure take?

After the initial consultation the first procedure will take approximately 120 minutes dependant on the work carried out. Your follow up appointment usually take 60mins – 120mins dependant on any adjustments.

How long will my enhancement last?

Enhancements can last from 2 to 5 years depending on factors such as age and lifestyle. Most clients require 2 initial sessions to complete the treatment. To maintain the colour intensity of your enhancement, it is recommended to return for a colour boost every 18 months. These touch-ups take much less time to complete and are priced at £150 per area.

Will it hurt?

Topical anaesthetics are applied to the skin before, and during the procedure to assure you of the most comfortable experience possible. Many clients describe the sensation as a ‘mild scratchy’ others say they feel a ‘buzzing sensation’. On a scale of 1-10, most rate the discomfort between 0-3.

How will I look straight after my treatment?

Immediately after procedure your colour will appear darker and more intense. This will lighten and soften over 3-7 days. Mild redness or swelling may occur for the first couple of days particularly with eye and lips procedures. However, normal activity can be resumed immediately following the procedure.

How long will it take to heal?

Generally, the colour will be stronger and more sharply defined for 3-7 days.. You may also experience light to moderate swelling, especially with eye and lip procedures. After the initial three days, the healing skin will begin to gently flake off and the treated area will lighten. In many cases it may be too light so to achieve the best possible results for you, 4-6 weeks after your initial treatment we offer a second treatment completely free of charge to refine and perfect the results.

I would be happy to talk to salons that would like to offer permanent makeup to their clients. I will help you to gain the special treatments licence needed to perform the procedures onsite.

If you do not want to have the procedures take place at your salons, I can offer a service where I perform the consultation in your salon and the treatments from my studio, therefore you will not need to obtain a special treatments licence. Healthy incentives are in place for this option.
